I bought a ps4 last year and found a few games that sucked me in. I own the Destiny version but found that game rather shallow. But Bloodborne on the other hand was my cup of tea. Deep and gorgeous, it kept me coming back to the bastardly hard game ! I gathered about 80 hours in it and enjoyed the ride.
I picked up Metal Gear Solid 4 for the ps3 and beat it before getting into one of the best games I have played this year:
My next killer game was Metal Gear Solid 5. I always liked the original Metal Gear Solid and have dabbled in others and really enjoyed 4. 5 though being an open world, free to tackle any mission anyway you want was a masterpiece of gaming done right. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the game is beautiful and the world is huge. You get a partner to help you on your missions with my favorite being my dog but the hot sniper was a close second ! I built up my motherbase, smacked around my fellow solders and even showered now and then before the flies buzzing was too distracting. The game is standing tribute to how creative Kojima is and his strange vision finally met with hardware to do it justice.
I completed Dragonage Inquisition and it took me about a year of off and on playing but I returned and completed it. All in all it was a good game with ok visuals and good writing. I enjoyed creating my party and crafting fine weapons and armor. I closed the rifts, collected shards and burnt through the story at my own slow pace. I have over 110 hours in it and can not complain as I got my money out of this game.
I just started The Witcher 3 and so far I am deeply impressed. One of the most gorgeous games to date on the ps4. More as I get deeper into it.
