I finished and platinumed Spiderman on the ps4. I really enjoyed the game, the mechanics, and the story. The voice acting was very well done and the game was just the right challenge. On my books as one of the GOTY contenders. The flight dynamics of Spiderman using his webs just felt right! The open-world was beautiful and the story was well written and kept me interested throughout. It was a lot of content but did not feel stuffed with extra fluff to just keep you in the game. Grinding was fun and getting different suits, powers and collectibles kept it fun.
I think the only negative was some of the challenge mode skills could be frustrating and those materials were in short supply.
If you on on the fence and like superhero games, this is one to not miss. Great boss fights and I would say the best Spiderman game to date. It is only on ps4 but a must play if you own a PS4!! I hope they make more awesome superhero games like this one!
Spiderman DLC “The City That Never Sleeps” completed 2-10-19.
This 3 part DLC adds a new story, new challenges, and more Spiderman goodness to a great game! You take on Hammerhead and his thugs and it has added a good amount of gameplay to an already fairly substantial game. I really enjoyed returning to the Spiderverse and even the challenge missions with Screwball were fun but I did have to work on the last one to beat it.
This is the proper way to add DLC. It was just the right amount of new content and did not feel cheap. Good story and a great way to revisit our Friendly Neighborhood hero doing what he does! Looking forward to the next installment for sure!
