This game is truly awesome! I enjoyed the first Division but it did not grab me but it was a game I knew had some good mechanics and was solid. Division 2 takes the foundation of The Division and added enough refinement to make the best looter shooter to date IMO. It is a game you can enjoy solo gameplay and not feel the game was not designed for you. Division 2 is more fun with others but I have played plenty of it solo and had a great time.
The gameplay is similar to Destiny except based on a real location and grounded in a believable scenario. Washington D.C. is recreated and the team took time to do their homework. They included most of the important buildings and places and the authentic feel of walking D.C. is awesome.
The one thing I do enjoy is you are not always out of ammo. I play Fallout 76 and it is a different experience but you are always low on ammo and that issue is not here. I realize they have different takes and goals but I enjoy this more as a looter shooter and Fallout 76 as an exploration game.
Ubisoft hits another home run and they have been really on top of their game lately making another highly polished, fun, and solid online shooter that stands out with Anthem and Fallout both launching too early and too broken. Ubisoft has earned our trust as a top-notch gaming company giving us plenty of bang for the buck.
