Nioh 2

-A beautiful and very challenging game!

Nioh 2 is the sequel to Nioh and goes a few steps farther than the previous game both in mechanics and difficulty. You are a warrior and demon giving you powers you did not have in the other game. The demon powers are limited in time but can give you the needed boost to best the hard bosses in this game. You have a large map although not an open world it has shortcuts and hidden paths that make getting back to where you were easy. The maps are fairly big and you travel from regions, each having multiple camps and missions to complete.  The regular battles are a good challenge and become fairly easy as you gain skills and master some weapons. There are a lot of weapons, armor and skills meaning a lot of choice on how you can battle and each has tricks, specialties and boosts. You get fire, water, lightning you can buff your swords with and armor to negate these as well. It is the Dark Souls set in Japan and just as intense. It also has a story and gives you more backdrop than Souls games. You can summons help for hard bosses, you can join others to help them and you can also summons npcs for help but they do not compare to a real player.
