As a long-time gamer, we usually have a cycle of new releases and then the time between to actually play some of them. This year we are being blasted with significant, AAA releases at a pace we can not keep up with. It is an excellent problem to have but between purchasing them and playing them I am at a point where my backlog is not becoming just games that are ok and need to get to in slower times, it is hot new releases I simply have no time to get on but really want to play. Part of my issue is I love RPGs and these are usually significant investments in time. I also made the mistake of digging into AC Odessey and it is humungous in scope. I have God of War waiting, Sonic Frontiers, Tales of Arise, Octopath Traveler 2, Bravely Default 2, and Dragon Quest 11 to complete, and the list goes on and on.
Guess I need to retire soon just to dig into these hundreds of hours of games I need to complete.

On PC I am playing: Diablo IV, and Marvel Midnight Suns which are both fantastic games! I recently upgraded my memory to 32 gigs and picked up a M.2 for Starfield later. I also replaced my 1070 with a 3060ti. Nothing more to do to this rig until I replace it but should give me a few more years. It was purchased in 2017 so starting to get long in the tooth but so far keeping up.

I know I do not have the time but I do play an hour in the morning and that is my way to start my day. But I guess just chugging along. It does seem we are in a good spot for gaming. I would hate to be a reviewer in this day and age. I do have vacation so trying to tackle some of this between short trips to get away. I have a Steam Deck and Switch for when away. Geeks need their fix!
Peace all and game on!
