I decided to tackle this version, which I already owned. I played it on my Vita and although not the best version I soon was ok with the smaller screen.
In this game, you are looking to defeat the Void. You gather your 4 heroes and start this 40-hour journey. Final Fantasy V has an excellent job system that you can swap jobs anytime you wish max them out and keep the traits to use with the next job you learn. You can do this multiple times and it really gives you some intriguing mash-up of skills and powers. Like a white mage that has some black magic powers, a thief that can also use summons, a knight that can also cast, etc.

I really enjoyed the game, mostly because the systems are so fun. The story was just ok as I enjoyed 3 and 4 more storywise. I would recommend the game just to play with the combat and I was all in until the last boss. Neo Ex-Death was beyond me and I gave up after many attempts to beat his ass. But up until that battle, I was enjoying the game.

I am trying to play as many of these as I can to fill in the gaps. FF 3,4,5,7,9,15 completed (at least to me.) I have FF6 bought, FF10 bought,FF 12, 13, FF16 bought. I will get back to my FF completion list but need a FF break now for a few months. Peace all and will let you know what I tackle next.
