This sequel to the reboot of God of War is an excellent action-adventure game. It is not as hard as a souls like. The game offers the right balance of puzzles and systems to keep it fun. The story is solid, and the cast is again perfectly cast. You can adjust the difficulty to adjust to your comforts. It has plenty of settings to tune the game style to your liking.
The world of Kratos and Atreus is one of building trust between the son and father. With some help from companions, they set out on a grand adventure. They deal with various creatures and other gods trying to avoid war. Kratos and Atreus get skill trees and plenty of upgrades to make dishing out damage truly fun.
They break up the game in zones with fast travel spots to quickly move about. This is a rather big game and there are a lot of side quests and exploring to do. I found the game interesting and enjoyed the story. The game is also beautiful and detailed and ran flawlessly on my base PS5. You have roughly 60-100 hrs of gameplay. There is also some free DLC that adds another 10 hours of fun.
If you have PS Plus this game is also free. A must-play on PlayStation IMO.
